Ealing council’s web site says “Great British Spring Clean (GBSC) is an annual campaign run across the country to bring communities together and encourage residents to participate in organised community clean-up events. This year, Ealing Council is holding a number of clean up events in some of the worst hot spots for littering and fly-tipping across the borough.

In early January we asked residents to voteĀ for which of the three most reported hot-spots of the councils roads, parks and canal areas would be our focus for the GBSC. An event will be held at each of the following three chosen locations on Friday, 2 March 2018 to kick off the Great British Spring Clean weekend.”

It continues

“Road: Seaford Road, West Ealing – 10am to 1pm;
Park: Brent Lodge Park – 11am to 2pm
Canal: Smiths Farm Section, Grand Union Canal – 12pm to 3pm

All residents and community groups are welcome to attend any of the events, but also encouraged to help make a difference by organising clean-up events in your neighbourhood. Together we can make a difference and clean-up the litter across the borough”.
