Watermans, Brentford

Anyone interested in the River Brent may be interested in this event in Brentford (apt place name). See message below from Francesca Campagnoli of Thames 21 and ‘Brent Catchment Partnership Facilitator’.

I would like to invite everyone to take part in Thames Water Blitz and in an evening of short talks set to ignite dialogue and inspire healthy change for rivers and nature around the River Brent.

A bit more about the Wild West Huddle at the Watermans, Brentford Thursday 21st April, from 7-9pm:

What if we came together to renature our part of London? The Wild West Huddle ReWilding West by North West is a new event to bring together like-minded people to share inspiring stories, great ideas and projects that are rewilding hearts, minds and places North West of the Thames*.

At the huddle we’ll hear short wild talks by local activists, innovators, educators, thinkers and makers who are doing great things to rewild hearts, minds and places. There will then be time to discuss the talks, share projects and network.

The Wild West Huddle line up will explore:

Childhoods ~ Daniel Raven-Ellison

  •  Rivers ~ Francesca Campagnoli
  •  Adventure ~ Paul Hyman
  •  Photography ~ Rudy Harding
  •  Art ~ Jasmine Kamal-Pasha
  •  Litter ~ Daniella Levene
  •  Orchards ~ James Morton
  •  Eels ~ Joe Pecorelli

Everyone is welcome to join the Wild West Huddle. An event for learning and sharing, you do not need any experience in rewilding… just a curious and playful interest in making our part of the capital a little wilder.

Tickets are free but booking is essential. Book your place at https://www.watermans.org.uk/events/wild-west-huddle/

The event is hosted by Thames21 Brent Catchment Partnership and the Greater London National Park City Initiative.
